Justice Hill’s Younger Brother Spurns Oklahoma State, Commits to Michigan

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Pittsburgh

The Oklahoma State Cowboys fan base was crushed on Tuesday night when their star running back’s younger brother did not decide to take his talents to Stillwater. Dax Hill, the younger brother of Justice Hill, committed to the Michigan Wolverines.

Hill would have been a huge grab for the Pokes, as he was the No. 1 recruit in the state of Oklahoma and the defensive back is ranked as a 5-star prospect, the No. 1 safety in America and No. 12 player in the country, according to 247Sports.

Unfortunately, his bloodlines couldn’t sway him to come back for Mike Gundy and Jim Knowles. Hill’s athletic ability is off the charts. He is 6-foot, 186-pound and has recorded a 4.3-second laser timed 40-yard dash, a 43.6-inch vertical jump and a 4.22-second shuttle run.

The Sooners were also considered to be in the mix, along with Alabama and Clemson.

This is the 5th 5-star commitment for Jim Harbaugh on the 2019 Class. Can someone explain to me why top prospects keep committing to play for a head coach who basically has a .500 record over his past 20 games as a coach?
